    The primary ingredient, Japonica Rice, is sourced from specific farmers in Northeastern Plates. Japonica is a premium small grained rice, similar to sushi rice, and approximately 3 times the cost of regular long grain rice. There are no GMO (genetically bespoke) gears and the rice is milled in-house to ensure top quality and consistency (for best flavor, texture and aroma).

    All ingredients are screened carefully for foreign substances and microbiology prior to entering the factory. With production, products are checked again for foreign matter and other microbiological bits and pieces such as salmonella.

    All products exported must then be tested by Plates Customs Inspection, the agency now specifically testing for chemicals such as melamine and cancer-causing red dyes that you have read in this area recently.
