Is teething make my 7month old have diarreha? | BabyCenter

He has had the diarreha for the past week, and the doc gave us some antifungal cream for his diaper rash which is really terrible.She said it is from teething.I am wondering is it from the baby formula and if so should i switch to a soy mix.

Yes the diarrhea certainly could be from teething; that’s very common. As for the switch in formula, bring it up to the doctor. If the diarrhea isn’t going away, then it can’t hurt to try a different formula. But if it just started and you’ve been using the same formula for a while…and the diarrhea goes away…then it’s likely it was just the teething.
