Do babies sleep more during the day when they are teething ...

Question

My daughter is 5 months ancient and has her two bottom teeth already. She has continued to want to chew on everything in sight. I am not sure if there are more teeth trying to push trough. She has been napping more frequently during the day and really chewing on things. Is sleeping more during the day occur when a baby is teething?

Yes! My baby wants to take naps way more frequently when she is teething a lot. But sometimes they are shorter naps because she is more wakeful due to ache. What really makes her want to nap more are the growth spurts.
